Getting started in three steps
- Set up your salon. Add your services, prices, durations, staff and working hours. Turn on reminders and, if you want them, deposits.
- Share your booking link. Put it in your Instagram bio, on Facebook, in your Google Business Profile and on your website.
- Run the diary. Bookings appear in your calendar with the client's details and intake form answers. Reports show what is working.
Frequently asked questions
How much does BookBook cost?
£35 per month for one stylist profile with unlimited bookings, plus £12 per month for each additional staff member. There is no commission on bookings and no setup fee. Salons with 5 or more staff can ask about a discount.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can set up your salon and take real bookings during the trial without entering a card. Cancel anytime.
Do my clients need to download an app or create an account?
No. Clients open your booking link in any browser, pick a service and time, and enter their name and phone number. They receive a confirmation and reminders by email or SMS.
How do reminders work?
You choose when reminders go out, for example an email 48 hours before and an SMS 24 hours before. Each reminder includes links to confirm or reschedule.
Can I take deposits?
Yes. Deposits or card-on-file can be required per service, per client, or for first-time bookings. Card payments are processed by our payment provider.
Can I use BookBook without a website?
Yes. Your booking page is hosted for you. Share the link on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and your Google Business Profile, or embed it on a website if you have one.
Can I import my existing clients?
Yes. Import clients from a spreadsheet (CSV). Existing clients are recognised by their details when they book.
Who owns my client data, and can I export it?
You do. You can export your clients, bookings and records at any time, and before closing your account.
Which languages does BookBook support?
The salon dashboard and the client booking page are available in English, Polish and Lithuanian.
