Set up your booking page in an evening

1. List your services with prices and realistic durations, including clean-up.
2. Set the days and hours you actually want to work. Block out school runs and travel buffers.
3. Turn on reminders (email 48h, SMS 24h) and a deposit for first-time and colour appointments.
4. Add your questions: address, parking, allergies, when was your last colour.
5. Put the link in your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile.

Why not just use a marketplace app?

They bring some new clients, and that can be worth it early on. The cost is the commission, usually 20 to 30 percent on those bookings, and the fact that the client list belongs to the app. Many mobile stylists use a marketplace for discovery and their own booking page for regulars, so repeat bookings are commission-free.

Records that protect you

Patch test dates, colour formulas and consent forms in the client record mean you can answer any question from an insurer or a client months later. Intake forms sent before the appointment do this without paperwork in the car.
